Juventus contemplating ‘DOUBLE Man United raid as they target Tyrell Malacia and Joshua Zirkzee in January move’

JUVENTUS are planning a surprise double transfer raid on Manchester United, as per reports.

The Italian giants aim to strengthen their defense in January after a disappointing first half of the season.

The Old Lady currently sits fifth in the Serie A standings, 12 points behind leaders Napoli, and is 14th in the Champions League.

Veteran captain Danilo is expected to leave when his contract ends this season—or even sooner if a club presents a suitable transfer fee.

Tyrell Malacia is a January transfer target for Juventus

According to the Daily Star, Juve has singled out Tyrell Malacia as a viable left-back option.

They are reportedly eager to pursue a loan deal this month with an option to make the transfer permanent in the summer.

Juventus would cover most of Malacia’s £75,000-a-week salary—creating space in the United squad and some financial room for Ruben Amorim to bring in a new player.

The 25-year-old Dutchman has just returned from nearly 18 months out due to knee surgery.

Since completing his recovery in late November, the 2022 signing from Feyenoord has made four first-team appearances this season but has only played beyond half-time once.

His current contract at Old Trafford runs out at the end of next season, although United holds an extra 12-month option if they choose to extend.

Malacia may not be the only player making the switch from Manchester United to Juventus.

SunSport reported this week that the Turin club is interested in taking Joshua Zirkzee on loan.

Juventus also want Joshua Zirkzee but not Marcus Rashford

Zirkzee, a fellow Dutchman aged 23, has faced a tough start at the Red Devils since his £36.5 million summer move.

He was jeered off the pitch after just 33 minutes during Monday’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle, marking a new low.

However, the former Bayern Munich talent has a good reputation in Italy from his time at Bologna, which led to his United transfer—where he played under current Juve manager Thiago Motta.

Yet, one player not switching Amorim for Motta is Marcus Rashford.

The sidelined United forward seeks a way out of his lifelong club, but Juventus declined the chance to acquire the England international.

Instead, Rashford could still be heading to Serie A, with AC Milan showing interest, while a swap deal involving Napoli and Victor Osimhen is also being considered.
