Manchester United have begun talks with Sporting CP about signing Viktor Gyokeres next summer, according to a fresh report.
What happened? According to Florian Plettenberg, United has begun talks with Sporting about signing Gyokeres. The 26-year-old has been in amazing form for the Portuguese club this season, hitting 24 goals in 21 appearances as he rose to a new level under now-United manager Ruben Amorim.
THE BIGGER PICTUREAccording to the source, United would need to raise finances if they want to sign Gyokeres, and they will face competition from Manchester City.
