Kobbie Mainoo showcased his sensational skills during a kickabout on Venice Beach in Los Angeles, enjoying some downtime with his brother, Love Island star Jordan Mainoo-Hames, and a group of kids.
The 19-year-old England midfielder is currently in California, where Manchester United recently faced a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal in a pre-season friendly.
During the kickaround, Mainoo impressed onlookers with a rabona-style shot after a brilliant dribble, catching the attention of fans and young players alike. His older brother, Jordan, also appeared in the video, highlighting the fun atmosphere.
Despite not being included in Erik ten Hag’s squad for the match against Arsenal, Mainoo is taking the time to ease back into training after an impressive campaign with the England team at the Euros. Following the tournament, where England fell short in the final against Spain, both he and teammate Luke Shaw are entitled to a mandatory three weeks’ holiday.
Mainoo’s dribbling skills and creativity on the pitch received positive reactions on social media, with fans praising his flair and ability. Comments included: “Beautiful to watch,” “Cold moves,” and “How can this dude be this smooth at 19?”
Regarded as one of Manchester United’s stars of the future, Mainoo had a standout season, starting 21 consecutive Premier League games and contributing three assists and five goals across 32 matches in all competitions. He shared numerous photos from his trip, further engaging with fans and showcasing his talent.
