LA Lakers superstar and four-time NBA champion LeBron James shared a throwback from his high school days. James joined a trend on Instagram where users post how they looked during their high school years.
James reposted an image shared by his former St. Vincent-St. Mary teammate Willie McGee, which featured them with Dru Joyce and Romeo Travis.

James played for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, from 1999 through 2003, where he became one of the most hyped basketball prospects of all time.

In high school, James averaged 25.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 55.8%, including 36% from beyond the arc. He scored a total of 2,667 points during his four-year stint.
Among his many accolades, James earned three Ohio Mr. Basketball honors, three Ohio Division III state championships and two Gatorade National Player of the Year awards. He capped off his high school career with a national championship in 2003.
LeBron James opens up about missing several Lakers games
LeBron James, just 10 days shy of his 40th birthday, has lost some of the explosiveness that once defined his athleticism. After missing consecutive games for the LA Lakers, fans have grown concerned about his condition.
He returned to the court on Sunday, helping the Lakers secure a 116-110 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. After the game, James spoke with reporters, revealing the reason behind his absence.
“If it was up to just me, I probably would’ve played,” James said. “It would’ve been hard to keep me away from it. I have a team and I got to listen to them as well. They look out for my best interest.””I had an opportunity to take more days and get my mind, body and everything where I wanted it to be for tonight and it worked out.”
