Antony, a Manchester United star, purchased a brand-new Lamborghini to celebrate being brought to Brazil for the World Cup.
The winger was part of Brazil boss Tite’s 26-person roster that was announced to travel to Qatar this month. He has never participated in a World Cup for the Seleção previously.
To commemorate the occasion, the former Ajax player purchased a brand-new set of wheels, as displayed in a social media photo this week.
Antony can be seen standing next to the automobile in an Instagram photo. He appears satisfied after making the transaction.
The post also included a video of the automobile being cautiously removed at the United star’s home in Cheshire.
Antony is standing outside his house in the last photo, with the car now in his driveway, posing with Ricardo Leighton, who arranged the purchase.
The Brazilian star also presented Leighton with a signed Manchester United shirt as a thank-you for his assistance in locating the vehicle.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae costs £337,000.
Last month, he discussed the heartwarming moment when he and his family discovered he had been picked for the squad.
After leaving Ajax, the player shared a video on social media showing himself waiting for news with his family. Everyone is wearing Manchester United shirts except Antony, who is wearing a Brazil shirt.
When his name is shouted, his family leaps with delight and embraces him. The United No. 21 tears up after learning he will be playing in his first World Cup.
The winger’s first appearance for his country came in the World Cup qualifiers in October of last year. This will be his first big game for his country.
