What happened?

According to Football Insider, Al-Nassr is looking at Antony for a new winger position this summer and has made an initial offer. The Saudis were apparently interested in Barcelona’s Rafinha, but they have since changed their focus to Antony, who played alongside Ronaldo for the Red Devils during the first half of the 2022-23 season.

Antony has had a dreadful experience at United since coming for a club record £85 million ($108 million) in 2022. With only 16 goals or assists in 82 games, his departure would be a big loss for United.

According to Football Insider, Altought United want to sell Antony this summer. They are willing to let him leave on loan as long as his weekly wage of £100,000 is paid. He has three years left on his contract, so a short-term relocation may be financially beneficial.

It’s uncertain whether Antony will face Manchester City in the Community Shield this weekend. Erię ten Hag’s team will kick off the 2018 Premier League season at home against Fulham on August 16.
