Mason Mount leads Man Utd stars to the Monaco Grand Prix only hours after their FA Cup victory, as he joins up with Ex-Chelsea friend Ben Chilwell following the pair’s Euro 2024 England snub

Several Manchester United players made last-minute trips to Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix after celebrating their FA Cup victory over Manchester City into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Mason Mount was among those who arrived to the Monte Carlo racetrack on Sunday, dressed almost entirely in white as a Red Bull guest for the year’s most spectacular race.

Mount was greeted in the paddock by former Chelsea colleague Ben Chilwell, not a Manchester United teammate.

The two have stayed close friends since Mount moved from Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford for £60 million last summer, and they appeared to be having a wonderful time in the humid Monaco weather.Image

Mount and Chilwell have already begun their post-season break, and neither has been named to Gareth Southgate’s provisional 33-man squad for the 2017 European Championship.

Mount traveled to Monaco less than 24 hours after Manchester United won the FA Cup.

Mount’s post-season break has officially begun, after failing to make Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

Mount’s post-season holiday is officially started, having failed to be included in Gareth Southgate’s England team.

Mount has had a difficult first season at United, where he was given the club’s famed No.7 shirt upon arriving, suffering multiple injuries and appearing in only 20 games across all competitions, scoring one goal.

However, he was fit to play in Saturday’s Wembley Cup match and came off the bench in the third minute of stoppage time as manager Erik ten Hag tried to run the clock down.

Meanwhile, numerous Mount’s United colleagues were present as Diogo Dalot paired Brazilian winger Antony on the pitch.

United’s Diogo Dalot was also in attendance, attending a Formula One race for the first time.

Dalot has been one of the club’s standout players this season, and he was just voted United’s player of the season.

He also played a key role in the FA Cup victory over the weekend and was upbeat as he went among the Formula One cars, pausing to speak with Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle.

Diogo Dalot of United was also in attendance, making his Formula One debut.

It was the first time Dalot has had the opportunity to fully express himself since his Wembley interview was cut short by United captain Bruno Fernandes.

Dalot responded on his team’s FA Cup win, saying, “It went extremely well.” The best way to end the season, and it feels incredible to be here as FA Cup champion.

He went on to claim that Monaco was his first Formula One experience, adding, ‘It’s my first time. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to visit, and it was a fantastic experience. I hope I like the race.

Other football stars attended race day, including Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, as well as Kylian Mbappe, who took in the sights of the ultra-rich atmosphere.
