Manchester United had their eyes on Viktor Gyokeres on Saturday when Ruben Amorim’s top target scored his fifth goal of the Nations League season.

When questioned about a prospective move to Manchester United, Gyokeres replied, “He probably has some strikers there already, so we’ll see. No, he has not [invited me to join him].

“It’s fun but nothing I attach any importance to because it’s talk and nothing concrete.”
