Antony got a large tattoo on his back of himself celebrating a goal he scored for Ajax after failing to get into Manchester United. The supporters are outraged over this.
Antony appears to have scored another own goal among Manchester United fans.
Bruno Lopes, a tattoo artist, shared a photo of the 24-year-old Brazilian winger getting the tattoo on Instagram.
He scored a late goal against Feyenoord in 2022, allowing his club to win the AFC title. This photo shows him having fun.
That goal was crucial for Erik ten Hag’s Ajax team. They won the championship by two points over Manchester United.
Images of the Brazilian obtaining a new tattoo were uploaded on Instagram.
Ten Hag then moved to Manchester United in the summer of 2015, with Antony paying £85.5 million to leave Ajax for United.
But not on the field—charges derailed his promising start to the season.
He hasn’t had any success after then. In 38 games, he has only three goals and one assist. Only one of those goals came in the Premier League.
He has a large image of himself celebrating an Ajax goal engraved on his back.
He lost it when he was moved to left back in the Arsenal defeat and again when he was switched to right back against Liverpool.
People also called Antony terrible things when United defeated Coventry on penalties to go to the FA Cup Final. On May 25, they will face Manchester City in that game.
Despite being merely ninth in the league, they have had a disastrous season in every manner. They are expected to achieve the poorest finish in Premier League history.
They’ve lost 19 games in all tournaments, and they may not even make it to European football. This is the most since the 1978–79 season.
The United game against Newcastle comes this evening at Old Trafford. They also do not want to lose their tenth home game of the season, the most ever.
People who disliked Antony spoke out immediately after witnessing him get his tattoo on Instagram.
Antony had a season to forget with the Red Devils.
One fan who spotted the photographs on social media commented, “More tattoos than good games.”
Sixth: “Man got a tattoo.”
Someone person joked, “Who has a face tattoo?”. Faces that are joyful.
Antony has a lion and a clock face on one of his arms.
One of the harshest things someone said was, “Nothing but hate for football; would rather get tattoos than play football and pay attention to your upcoming games.”
Wow, I cannot believe Manchester United has players like this.
Lopes did all of the tattoos on the attacker’s back. Tattoos help Lopes remember his youth in Brazil’s underprivileged favelas.
His neck tattoo says ‘illuminado’ or ‘illuminated’ in English.
As a reference to it, the tattoo depicts him celebrating his Ajax goal while staring out at what appears to be his old residence.
