Alphonso Davies, left-back of Bayern Munich, has agreed to join Real Madrid after the end of his contract in 2025.
Alphonso Davies – Bayern Munich ‘s top left-back has expressed his desire to join Real Madrid. Before this information, the Canadian player’s representative confirmed with the Spanish Royal team.
According to journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon, Davies’ family and agent have announced that the Canadian star will choose Real Madrid when his contract with Bayern Munich ends in June 2025.
Davies currently has a €150m release clause, but Real Madrid could wait until his contract expires to sign him for free, as they did with the controversial signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain . Davies is expected to demand a salary of around €15m and a net income of €10m per season at the Madrid club.
Bayern Munich have recently offered Alphonso Davies a contract extension with significantly improved terms, but have yet to receive a response. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is keen to keep Davies, who is considered one of the best left-backs in the world.
However, negotiations could collapse later this year if Davies does not accept a new offer from Bayern Munich. Despite interest from both Barcelona and Man United , Davies is believed to have decided to choose Real Madrid, despite his good relationship with coach Hansi Flick and attractive offers from the Premier League .
