Meanwhile, the women’s team went to all three hospitals and saw patients.In addition to giving out gifts, they posed for photos and signed autographs for others who were having a tough Christmas.

“One of the most important things that we do as players and staff at Manchester United, especially around Christmas time, is help people in our community,” Harry Maguire, captain of the club, said.

Manchester United Women’s head coach, Marc Skinner, was present, as were team captain Katie Zelem and players Alessia Russo and Millie Turner.
Zelem said, “It’s been a delight to make the kids smile. We look forward to coming each year to share our enthusiasm and love with the youngsters, who hopefully will recover soon.”
