STARS from both the men’s and women’s Manchester United teams followed their Christmas tradition of donating to local hospitals.

The women’s first team visited patients, their families, and staff, while the men’s first team delivered gift bags to bring holiday cheer.
Marcus Rashford packaged presents, and the men’s team also delivered video messages to the Hospital for Sick Children, Francis House Children’s Hospice, and the Christie.

David De Gea was seen putting gifts into a Christmas bag. Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek were also seen spreading holiday cheer.

Meanwhile, the women’s team visited all three hospitals and saw patients.In addition to providing gifts, they posed for photos and signed autographs for others who were having a difficult Christmas.
“One of the most important things that we do as players and staff at Manchester United, especially around Christmas time, is help people in our community,” said United captain Harry Maguire.
“For us, sending well wishes and packing gifts for the hospitals, putting smiles on people’s faces is really important.”

Rashford, on the other side, stated that “there’s no doubt that we enjoy helping the kids and staff at the hospitals as a team.”
“To put a smile on young people’s faces and seeing them happy gives us a massive boost over Christmas.”

Marc Skinner, Manchester United Women’s head coach, was present, along with team captain Katie Zelem and players Alessia Russo and Millie Turner.
Zelem stated, “It’s been a pleasure to make the youngsters smile. We look forward to returning every year to give our enthusiasm and love to the children, who hopefully will recover soon.”
