ALEJANDRO GARNACHO was involved in a fight with a fan before Manchester United’s Europa League match against PAOK.
The 20-year-old was picked to the starting lineup for the match by interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, making it the third game in a row he has started for the Dutchman.
Garnacho responded to the fan’s ‘disrespectful’ words.
However, while greeting fans outside Old Trafford prior to the game, the Argentine got into a disagreement with one of them.
Garnacho received criticism for his performance in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
As Garnacho talked with admirers, one fan felt it necessary to express his opinion.
The fan could be heard shouting, “Garnacho, you need to pass better today, okay?
“Pass better today, score a goal, and work on your first touch as well.”
After signing an autograph for another fan, he turned to the fan and asked, “Why aren’t you playing?”
He then moved away, towards the entrance to the ground.
Fans who reacted to the film on social media were critical of the decision to express their viewpoint right away.

One fan commented, “That’s rude of the fan.”A second person responded, “This is extremely disrespectful to Garnacho.”

Garnacho is the team’s leading scorer, with six goals and four assists in 16 games across all competitions this season.
He is one of six outfield United players who have played more than 1,000 minutes this season.
