Mason Mount has resumed full training at Manchester United following his latest injury lay-off.
Mount has been out of action since United’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham in late September.
Mount has been out of action since United’s 3-0 loss to Tottenham in late September, when he came on as a half-time substitute for Kobbie Mainoo and was forced off at the end after colliding with Radu Dragusin, resulting in a cut head.
The 25-year-old has missed the past seven games, including Sunday’s match at Old Trafford against his former club, Chelsea. During that time, manager Erik ten Hag was fired, and Ruud van Nistelrooy was appointed interim manager until November 11, when Amorim took over.
Mount has only made 25 appearances in 16 months since joining United from Chelsea in July of last year, owing to a series of injuries, the most serious of which was a calf injury that kept him out for four months the previous season.
