NEW CHANGE: Man United boosts by £52 million Leny Yoro advances to the next round of therapy after a devastating pre-season injury

Manchester United’s latest signing, Leny Yoro, has taken the next stage in his recovery from a foot injury.

The 18-year-old fractured his metatarsal during a pre-season game against Arsenal in July.

The teenager is back training on grass with a man wearing a shirt with the word “tezos” on it.

Yoro has also been put through his paces at the gym.

He then underwent surgery and has been on a recovery program since.

Yoro is getting closer to a return, much to the delight of under-pressure Erik ten Hag.

He returned to the Carrington training pitch today for the first time since his procedure.

The defender was also put through his paces in the gym last week under the supervision of United’s medical team.

Despite his progress, the Red Devils insist he still has “a lot of work to do” before making his competitive debut.

Yoro pleased admirers earlier this month when he shared a video of his development on social media.

He released a video of himself running on an anti-gravity treadmill in the gym, captioned “On the way back.”

The teenager joined Manchester United in a £52 million trade from Lille this summer, but he is yet to make his Premier League debut.

Upon his arrival at Old Trafford, he stated: “Signing for a club of Manchester United’s status and ambition so early in my career is a tremendous honour.

“Since my first meetings with the club, they have laid out a clear plan for how I may progress in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and they have shown a great deal of concern for me and my family.
