Man Utd and a Hollywood legend collaborate to launch a gorgeous new apparel collection inspired by George Best.

MANCHESTER UNITED has enlisted a Hollywood icon to pay tribute to club legend George Best.

The Red Devils are launching a new Adidas clothing line in honor of the Belfast-born star, who made over 350 appearances for the team and was included in FIFA’s Team of the Century.Preview

The collection is inspired by United’s 1967-68 European Cup-winning season, during which they defeated Benfica 4-1 in the final, with Best scoring during extra time at Wembley.

Current players Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, Mason Mount, and Ethan Wheatley modeled the new gear, which includes a shirt, jogging bottoms, and a zip-up top, all in a classic dark blue associated with the club.Preview

Club legends Bryan Robson and Andy Cole also participated in the promotional shoot, which features Manchester’s coat of arms. Behind the lens was none other than actor Gary Oldman, known for his role in Slow Horses.Preview

One fan remarked on X: “The George Best collection shot on a vintage Chamonix camera by THE Gary Oldman is an amazing line to read on a rainy Friday. Kudos to Adidas and MUFC!” Another added, “Belfast-born, Manchester-made, and now a collection honoring his legacy—George Best’s influence continues.” A third fan commented, “This collection perfectly captures George Best’s spirit! Proud to celebrate such an iconic player.”Preview

Oldman, a devoted United supporter, frequently attends matches at Old Trafford. He surprised fans by appearing on TNT Sports before a match against Everton in March. Oldman won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2018 for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour and celebrated the achievement wearing a personalized United shirt signed by Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United’s official Instagram shared the moment, captioning it: “How to top off a trophy-winning night at the #Oscars? A personalized shirt from your favorite #MUFC player, of course!”
