Real Madrid conducted a medical examination on Kylian Mbappe on Wednesday morning, local time, to ascertain the extent of his injury after he experienced discomfort in his left thigh during the game against Alaves.
Mbappe and Real Madrid received a negative medical report because he damaged his right hamstring.

The treatment is ongoing,” the La Liga champions said in a statement. Mbappe’s predicament became apparent in the 80th minute of the match against Alaves, with Real Madrid leading 3-0 (3-2 on aggregate).
Mbappe deliberately requested to be substituted. As he passed coach Carlo Ancelotti, he placed his hand on his left thigh.
Ancelotti, who just celebrated his 300th match in charge of Real Madrid and a record 39 consecutive unbeaten games in La Liga, was originally enthusiastic.”He was a bit overwhelmed and asked for a substitution to avoid problems,” Carletto said at a press conference. It was worse than he thought. Mbappe was in fantastic shape before the injury. He scored five goals in La Liga and seven in all competitions, including five straight goals.
The incident prompted Mbappe to sit out this weekend’s derby against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano (2am on 30 September).
Mbappe will also be unable to play the Champions League away game against Lille, as well as the challenging match against Villarreal.
Mbappe will miss two UEFA Nations League matches against France (vs. Israel and Belgium). The FIFA calendar time provides an opportunity for him to heal.
