Egyptian winger Mo Salah enjoyed some leisure time on a jet ski as he takes a post-World Cup holiday. The 26-year-old sped across the clear waters after Egypt’s early exit from the tournament in Russia. While Salah relaxed on the beach with coconuts, his teammates were busy preparing for a pre-season trip to Blackburn.
He shared a snapshot of himself on the jet ski on Twitter, accompanied by wave emojis. Although he’s still regaining full fitness after a shoulder injury sustained during the Champions League final against Sergio Ramos, Salah appears well-rested and ready for the upcoming season.
In addition to jet skiing, Salah also tried paddleboarding at the beach. He’ll reunite with his teammates by the end of the month to ramp up preparations for the 2018-19 season. After an impressive debut season at Anfield, he signed a £200,000-a-week contract extension, as Liverpool aims to compete with Manchester City for the title.
