Rodri was pulled off with an injury during Manchester City’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal, raising concerns.
The Spanish midfielder collapsed holding his knee after battling for position with Arsenal’s Thomas Partey inside the box.
Unfortunately for City, Rodri needed additional medical attention and had to be taken off the pitch.
The 28-year-old was noticeably distraught while receiving treatment on the pitch as well.
City manager Pep Guardiola replaced Rodri with Mateo Kovacic.

A VAR review was conducted to determine whether Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli blocked City custodian Ederson, but the goal stood.
However, Mikel Arteta’s team faced a mountain to climb on the stroke of halftime when Leandro Trossard was sent out for a second bookable offence.
The Belgian collided with Bernardo Silva, who was focused on the ball, forcing referee Michael Oliver to issue a second yellow card.
City would eventually salvage a point from the match, with John Stones scoring in the dying minutes to deny Arsenal three points.
Rodri was knocked down just a few seconds after City began off as Gunners forward Kai Havertz collided with him in a weird altercation.

‘I donβt know yet. I didnβt ask the doctors,’ Guardiola told journalists. ‘He is strong. He leaves the pitch and his action is he felt something otherwise he would stay there.
‘He is the best holding midfielder in the world and potentially a Ballon DβOr winner, I would love it [if he won].
‘These are the type of games, against Arsenal, and itβs like that. We have to handle it and in many things we did it.’
Guardiola will be hoping Rodri’s injury is mild, as City’s record without him is noticeably worse than when he is on the team.
With Rodri, City has won 74% of its games and lost only 11%.
However, without the midfielder, the win rate lowers to 64%, while they lose 24% of games.
