Unai Simon joined Athletic Club from CD Aurrera de Vitoria in 2011. He made his debut for the Spanish national team in 2018 and has been their first-choice goalkeeper since then. Simon has been a key figure for Bilbao, delivering solid performances over the years. Last season, he played 36 matches, kept 18 clean sheets, and conceded 33 goals. He was also the primary goalkeeper for Spain during their victorious EURO 2024 campaign.

Simon is renowned for his quick reflexes and strong hands. He maintains focus well and manages his area effectively. With his excellent penalty-saving skills and precise distribution, Simon is considered a top choice.

Unai Simon Could Be a Strong Addition for Manchester United

Manchester United signed Andre Onana from Inter Milan last summer.
