Although we were never in the bottom three and have never been since our promotion to the Premier League, it will be good to remain clear of the relegation scenario this time around. We all want to forget the challenges of last season. Last season, injuries were a major issue for us; missing a part of our first XI means that having our best players return and stay injury free will also be quite beneficial!

Though it’s too readily flung about, legend is a word that should be used carefully in football; still, Thomas Frank is clearly what he is.

He will be the first to say that, with his coaches, staff, and players, it is a team effort; but, he is the coach who got us promoted, the one who has given us hope that we could compete in this league with some of our performances and results; last season, he handled our injury crisis quite brilliantly to ensure we have a fourth straight Premier League season to look forward.

For everything he has accomplished with Brentford, he is certainly deserving of praise. I will be eternally grateful for everything he has given us Bees supporters.
