Alexis Mac Allister has exciting plans for his next tattoos, with his World Cup victory topping the list. The Liverpool star, who already boasts a nearly complete sleeve of tattoos on his left arm, is known for his deep connection to body art.
In an interview for Carlsberg’s Inked series, Mac Allister discussed the personal significance behind his tattoos. His collection features symbols of his love for football, family, and faith. A notable piece is a tattoo of a child with a ball, symbolizing his passion for the sport, and he proudly displays the names of his parents and brothers. “Family loyalty is essential,” he explains. “They’ve been my rock through every high and low.”
He also has tattoos of religious figures, key career milestones, and a motivational phrase in Spanish: ‘trust yourself and your people.’ However, he admits to a slight regret over a roulette wheel tattoo, which some mistakenly think reflects a fondness for gambling. “The roulette wheel was meant to incorporate shirt numbers used by my family,” he clarifies, “but it often gets misunderstood.”
Looking to the future, Mac Allister is eager to add more to his collection. “First, I’ll get a tattoo commemorating the World Cup,” he says. “Then, I want something for Liverpool. From day one, I felt a profound connection with this club, and I’m thrilled to be here. A trophy-themed tattoo would be perfect—maybe on my leg. Here’s hoping we win something this season so I can add it to my collection.”
