Manchester City have presented their fourth shirt for the 2024-25 season, which was co-designed by lifetime supporter and British music legend Noel Gallagher.
The Premier League champions have drawn inspiration from Oasis’ classic debut album Definitely Maybe to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
According to the club, the strip features outlines of’marine blue supersonic waves’ and was named Definitely City by kit manufacturer Puma.
Speaking about his role in the design, Gallagher repeated his admiration for his boyhood club, which has seen its fortunes change since he and brother Liam were regulars at Maine Road – even before Oasis’ fame in the 1990s.
‘I loved City before anything else; I was into City before I knew what music was. The 57-year-old informed the club’s website.

Oasis celebrated the 30th anniversary of the publication of their debut album with the surprise news that they would reunite for a tour in 2025, with brothers Liam and Noel burying the hatchet on their dispute.
‘Definitely Maybe has never lost its magic to me, I just think it’s an amazing snapshot of what we were about.
‘With the anniversary, I’ve been listening to it a lot more than I would ever listen to it, it makes me smile – they were great times. It’s spawned a great football kit, it’s legacy lives on.’
The City kit’s release comes less than a fortnight after the Manchester brothers officially ended their 15-year dispute and declared they will perform together again, 34 years after their debut show.
Their 14-show tour will run from July 4 to August 17, beginning at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and continuing with shows at Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh, and Croke Park in Dublin.
