Bruno Fernandes is back in Cheshire following his international duties with Portugal in the Nations League. The Manchester United captain featured in both of Portugal’s recent matches, contributing significantly to their victories over Croatia and Scotland. Fernandes scored an equaliser against Scotland, a powerful shot from outside the box that slipped past goalkeeper Angus Gunn, before Cristiano Ronaldo secured the win for Portugal.
Having helped Portugal top their Nations League group, Fernandes has now shifted his focus back to club football. In his downtime, he was spotted visiting Sainsbury’s, where he loaded up the boot of his £200,000 Bentley with groceries and water.
Fernandes boasts an impressive car collection, including an £85,000 BMW X5, a £64,000 Audi Q7, and a Mini Cooper. However, his standout vehicle is a Porsche Panamera Turbo S valued at approximately £150,000.
With his recent contract extension, Fernandes has become one of Manchester United’s highest-paid players, earning £350,000 a week. Despite his financial success and commitment to the club, Fernandes acknowledges that Manchester United is still far from being title contenders. Following a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, he candidly admitted, “Yes, I am perfectly aware that this Manchester United is not ready to win the Premier League.”
Fernandes expressed his ambitions for the team, stating their immediate goal is to secure a top-four finish and qualify for the Champions League, with a longer-term vision of winning the Premier League. “There is still a lot to improve for the greater objective, and for my dream, which is to one day win this championship,” he added.
