Man Utd star Garnacho put on a ‘EFFORT’ performance with an assist after playing 15 minutes, while Lisandro Martinez has 100% duels won in Argentina’s victory over Chile

Lisandro Martinez and Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United both stood out in Argentina’s 3-0 World Cup qualification win over Chile.

The Argentines earned all three points thanks to goals from Alexis MacAllister, Julian Alvarez, and Paulo Dybala.

They are already five points ahead of the competition, having won six of their seven qualifying matches.

The Copa America champions dominated, with 65% possession and 15 shots to their opponents’ five.

Martinez played 79 minutes and once again helped his national team keep a clean sheet.

He had a Sofascore of 7.5 and made four clearances that night.

The central defence also controlled the air, winning five out of five aerial encounters.

The 26-year-old has had a rocky start to the season for United, but he was outstanding on the ball for Argentina, tallying 67 touches and completing 96% of his 54 passes.

Despite having limited opportunity to shine, he earned a 6.9 rating and assisted Dybala’s late goal in the 91st minute.

He scooped up the ball on the left wing and carried it forward before passing it to Dybala, who scored from outside the box.
