Bellingham’s Rapid Growth in Sunderland

Bellingham played with Birmingham City as a youth before joining Sunderland last summer. With three goals and one assist in 17 games this season, the 18-year-old has done brilliantly for his present team.

The Stourbridge star has done brilliantly in both halves, as indicated by his 1.2 tackles, 0.6 saves, 1.4 clearances, 1.4 shots, 0.8 vital passes, and 0.6 dribbles per 90 minutes in the EFL Championship. He has excelled at passing the ball in the opposing team’s half, as seen by his pass success percentage of 85.3% in the second level of English football.

Bellingham enjoys playing football for Sunderland, but if Real Madrid makes an offer the following season, he may decide to move on. At the age of 18, he is still relatively raw, therefore it will take time for him to reach his full potential.

Does Bellingham have a promising future ahead of it?

Bellingham can help his team in his own half by receiving the ball well and committing a few turnovers. He can only hit the ball from a distance, but he is unafraid to eliminate the threat when it appears.

The English player can make quick runs with the ball in the opposition team’s half and has excellent field vision to create up scoring opportunities for his teammates up front. Occasionally, he is asked to play box-to-box rather than attacking midfield.

Bellingham should bolster and improve Real Madrid’s matchday roster. His skill is evidenced by his ability to play for the first team at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Bellingham is clearly a player to watch in the future, thus Real Madrid should work hard to sign him soon. Aside from that, he’d be an excellent long-term replacement for Madrid’s Luka Modric.
