United have been heavily linked with a deal for Ugarte this summer, but they believe PSG’s asking price is excessive. PSG paid roughly £51.4 million to sign him from Sporting Lisbon last summer, and they hope to recoup that amount.

United have shifted their focus to other targets as a result, although Sky Sports reports that they are still interested in Ugarte, and PSG’s interest in Sancho might reignite talks.GFX Info Jadon Sancho Erik ten Hag

According to the report, the two clubs have ‘had initial negotiations’ about Sancho moving to France, with United valued the winger at £40 million. Both Sancho and Ugarte are thought to be interested in a transfer.Jadon Sancho

Sancho spent the second part of last season on loan at previous club Borussia Dortmund following a public feud with United manager Erik ten Hag, but the two have since reconciled after face-to-face meetings, and he has appeared regularly in pre-season.

“We spoke well,” Ten Hag remarked on Sancho’s return to the fold. “Anyone may make mistakes. If the player reflects positively on this, you draw a line and go on. This team requires good players, and one thing is certain: Jadon is a very good player.

“I hope that the click still comes, and that he will contribute to our success.” Sancho has also spoken out regarding his future, stating that he enjoys being back in the United first team.

When asked if he was delighted to be back playing, Sancho replied, “Definitely, 100 percent.” Absolutely, yeah. It’s been lovely enjoying the weather and being back with the fellas. I enjoy the facilities in America.

“Obviously, when I have time off, I usually travel to America.” This is really one of the areas I train before the season, so it’s good to be back. “I wouldn’t call it home, but it is a nice facility.”

United has made two important additions this summer, bringing in striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and centre-back Leny Yoro from Lille, but PSG has spent heavily to get midfielder Joao Neves from Benfica.
