Manchester United players Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho have invested in a line of baby lotions. They have put money into Nala’s Baby, a company specializing in skin and hair care products for infants. Valued at £17 million, the company’s investor roster also includes boxer Anthony Joshua.
Rashford, 26, aims to help the brand grow and diversify his business interests, adding to his existing £15 million property portfolio. His mother, Melanie, is also reported to have invested.
Sancho, 24, who established his own investment firm in 2018, is enthusiastic about supporting the brand. He commented, “I’m proud to support a company providing essential products for parents who want the best for their kids.”
Nala’s Baby’s range of sensitive skin oils, body butters, and lotions will be available in Sainsbury’s this week, following previous partnerships with Ocado, Boots, and Tesco.
Founded in 2020 by British rapper Krept (Casyo Johnson) and Instagram influencer Sasha Ellese Gilbert, Nala’s Baby was created to fill a gap in the market for naturally-derived baby products. Krept, 34, has mentioned that he personally uses the cream on his face daily. The initial test batch of lotions was specially developed for their daughter, after whom the company is named.
