Manchester United celebrated their return to San Diego with a 3-2 victory over Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium.

Marcus Rashford, Amad, and Casemiro scored after Iker Losada put Real Betis up following a mistake by Tom Heaton. Betis’ Diego Llorente responded in the second half.

United’s victory was a much-needed morale booster after it emerged new signing. Leny Yoro has been sidelined for three months, while Rasmus Hojlund is out for six weeks.

Yoro fractured his metatarsal in Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Arsenal in Los Angeles, and Hojlund was pulled off 16 minutes into the friendly due to a hamstring issue.

Hojlund is anticipated to miss the first four games of the season, including the Community Shield against Manchester City, the Premier League opener against Fulham at home, Brighton away, and the home match against Liverpool.

Marcus Rashford also left the game against Betis with an injury. Here’s how the players are rated in San Diego:

A game at his pace. Played some penetrating passes and converted Marcus Rashford’s cut-back to put United ahead 3-1. 8

Christian Eriksen

Eriksen, like Casemiro, relished the game’s slow pace, and it was the first time he had controlled a match for United in about a year. 7

Amad

It’s the guy of the hour again. Within the first ten minutes, he created three decent opportunities, won a penalty, and scored wonderfully. 8

Unfortunately, he did not receive an early free kick, but his fitness levels were predictably high for his first preseason start. 7
