JULIAN ALVAREZ has stated that he is upset over being left out of Manchester City’s biggest games.
And the Argentina international believes he will make a choice about his club future after the Olympics are complete.

Alvarez is now in Paris after helping his country win the Copa America earlier this summer, so he won’t be back at the Etihad until September.
Now he questions whether he will ever return, with Atletico Madrid among the teams keeping an eye on the situation.
He said: “Last season, I was one of the City players with the most minutes on the team.
“But it’s true; in the end, you don’t like being left out of important matches. You want to contribute.
“I haven’t stopped to think clearly about what I’m going to do.
“When the Olympics is over I’ll take my time to think about what I want for myself. We’ll see what comes next.”
The World Cup winner has been with City for two years and has enjoyed great success with the club.
However, he is unlikely to get the central role he craves while Erling Haaland remains at the Etihad.
Alvarez scored 19 goals for City in all competitions last season, an impressive total that is nevertheless eclipsed by teammate Haaland’s 38 goals.
Alvarez joined City from River Plate in 2022 and has since amassed an impressive trophy collection for both club and country.

The 24-year-old has won the Champions League, FA Cup, two Premier League crowns, the World Cup, and Copa América.
However, the striker appears to be hungry for more glory, stating that he wants to play in even more important games.
This summer, he will represent Javier Mascherano’s Argentina team in France, hoping to win an Olympic gold medal.
