Rasmus Hojlund’s response to a question on injuries following Manchester United’s loss against Arsenal

Rasmus Højlund went down with an injury in the 13th minute during Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The young striker, who had opened the scoring for United in the 10th minute, was forced to leave the field just three minutes later due to what appeared to be a muscle injury. After the incident, the 21-year-old walked off the pitch unaided and was later seen moving through the mixed zone with a steady gait.Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Hojlund and Yoro INJURED, £67m release clause for Hjulmand, Jarrad Branthwaite 'head turned' | The Sun

United manager Erik ten Hag had anticipated potential injury issues during his pre-match briefing, reflecting on the 66 separate instances of injury or illness that plagued the squad last season. “Of course, it is too short,” Ten Hag remarked about the injury situation, adding, “We will have to wait over 24 hours to hopefully learn more. We were cautious with Leny as he only participated in 50 percent of the training sessions. Let’s stay positive and see what the results are.”Liverpool unlikely to see Rasmus Hojlund or Leny Yoro after Man Utd update - Liverpool.com

Despite the setbacks, Ten Hag expressed satisfaction with Højlund’s performance up until his injury. “We scored a very good goal, with Marcus Rashford providing a superb pass, and Højlund executed a fine move and finish. I was pleased with that. We created several good chances and had a goal disallowed for offside. Højlund is a significant threat to any defense and possesses strong scoring abilities,” Ten Hag noted.
