Richie Campbell, a Portuguese musician, performed. Earlier in the competition, Dalot was seen comforting Ronaldo, a Real Madrid icon, after he missed a penalty attempt against Slovenia.

And now the pair is enjoying each other’s company during the off-season, as Ronaldo posted a group photo with Dalot.

The Al-Nassr forward also shared a video of his and Dalot’s families witnessing a special performance by Portuguese singer Richie Campbell.

Ronaldo expressed his respect for the musician by including an applause emoji with the video.

But his admiration for Dalot dates back far further, to his second stay at Manchester United.

Weeks before his contract with the Red Devils was terminated in 2022, Ronaldo picked Dalot as one of three players he praised in Erik ten Hag’s side.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, he stated, “In Manchester United, I may say Dalot.

“He’s young but very professional, and I have no doubt that he’ll have a long career in football since he’s young, smart, intelligent, and very professional.

Dalot consoled Ronaldo, who cried after missing a penalty in the Euros.

The pair spent 18 months as teammates at Old Trafford.

“Probably Martinez, Casemiro is in his 30s, but I will say Dalot.”

Ronaldo played one and a half seasons with Dalot after returning to Old Trafford in 2021.

He went for Al-Nassr 18 months ago and has 64 goals in 70 appearances for the Saudi club.

However, he struggled at Euro 2024, failing to score in any of Portugal’s five games.
