Bruno Fernandes has emerged as PSG’s prime target this summer amid Manchester United’s uncertainty over their captain’s future.

Fernandes recently issued a final ultimatum to Manchester United amid growing interest from Paris St Germain. The Portuguese midfielder arrived at Old Trafford in January 2021 and has since become a pivotal figure at the club.

Two months ago, Fernandes outlined what Manchester United needed to do to retain him: “I’ll stay as long as the club needs me. This feeling indicates the club still sees me as part of their future plans. Therefore, I’ll strive not to become surplus to requirements.”

Previously, Fernandes had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, although interest from Al-Nassr did not materialize. However, PSG’s current interest, backed by coach Luis Enrique, signifies strong support for acquiring Fernandes. Negotiations are set to intensify between the clubs regarding Fernandes’ future. Of course, Ten Hag remains keen on retaining Fernandes’ commitment to Old Trafford.

He always gives his all and serves as a role model, even through injury,” stated Ten Hag in response to Fernandes’ recent comments hinting at his future.
