The Manchester City player was spotted sitting cross-legged in the middle of a river, in his famous meditation pose, before returning to England for the new season. Haaland appeared to be enjoying his last moments of peace and quiet before returning to the frenetic and stressful world of Premier League football.

Last season, Haaland made 45 appearances in all competitions and scored 38 goals. Although the Norwegian striker aspires to compete in Euro 2024, he will benefit from additional rest ahead of the new domestic season. The 23-year-old has missed much of the 2023-24 season due to injury, but he will be ready to return following another Premier League victory under Pep Guardiola.

After his meditation holiday, Haaland will return to training before City departs on their preseason trip. The Premier League champion is expected to travel to the United States to face clubs such as AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
