Grealish has had the summer off after being heartbreakingly left out of Gareth Southgate’s England team for the Euros in Germany.
The former Aston Villa player was unable to make the final 26-man squad despite training with the provisional 33-man team before to the competition.
Grealish will, however, be right behind his colleagues when they take the pitch in Berlin tomorrow.
The 28-year-old is sure he is in peak condition ahead of the new season for Manchester City, after failing to meet his own high expectations last season.
Despite winning the Premier League, Grealish battled with injuries and form last season, starting only 10 league games for Pep Guardiola’s side.
And the superstar winger is ensuring that he is in peak condition for the next season, flaunting his ripped figure in the 26-degree heat in Portugal.
Despite the disappointment of not making Southgate’s squad this summer, there are some things to take away from it.
Grealish has been able to recharge and focus on his fitness while also spending more time with pregnant partner Sasha Attwood.
While Grealish added: “Life’s biggest blessing”.
Grealish and Sasha were childhood sweethearts who started dating as teenagers at school in Solihull.
Without Grealish in the lineup, Gareth Southgate has had to rely on other talents to propel his club to the final.
And the England manager is anticipated to use the same starting lineup as in his semi-final victory tomorrow.
The nation waits with bated breath to see if the Three Lions will cross the finish line in a major competition for the first time since 1966.
They will, however, leave Germany as the first men’s England team to reach a major final on foreign soil, breaking records.
