Mychal’s recent comment on Klay’s excitement for club dancing in China suggests that he cherishes his son’s affinity for the Bahamas.

Thompson can be seen lounging on the sea, jet skiing with a female companion, and diving around a sunken boat in the images. When a video of Klay’s crazy dancing at a Chinese club went viral in June, TMZ called his father for comment, citing Stephen Curry’s use of laughing emojis as a reaction.

Mychal reportedly responded with a grin, saying, “He got that from me.” He added, “That is unique to the Bahamas. From the islands, that is. We are good dancers. Everyone in the Caribbean was born with a sense of rhythm. Klay appears to be embracing his roots and devoting time to reconnect with his natural rhythm.
