This heartwarming event not only emphasised the need of global cooperation, but also demonstrated the power of sports in instilling faith and optimism in children confronting adversity.

My trip to The Gambia last year with @unicefsverige was a life-changing event. I was so honored to be on the ground with the incredible UNICEF personnel and witness their life-changing work firsthand. Today, more children than ever before are affected by global crises, and their lives are changed in ways that are impossible to imagine.UNICEF works in nearly 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them reach their full potential, from early childhood to adolescence.

By becoming a monthly donor (Världsförälder), you can help UNICEF be there for children in need when they need it the most – both during disasters and in the aftermath, when daily life must be restored.Your monthly gifts are important.
