Darwin Nunez is set to represent Uruguay in the upcoming Copa America tournament.

Currently, Nunez is fully focused on Uruguay’s summer campaign as he gears up to return to Liverpool under the new management of Arne Slot.

In a recent match for Uruguay, the 24-year-old showcased his talent by netting a hat-trick in a 4-0 friendly victory over Mexico. This stellar performance extends his streak of scoring in each of his last five international matches, tallying eight goals during this period.

During the previous season with Liverpool, Nunez played a significant role, contributing to 31 goal involvements, including 18 goals. However, he only started one of the team’s final seven league games. His form declined towards the end of the season, failing to score or assist in the last seven outings and managing just one goal for the Reds from April onwards.
