While City teammates Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, and Kyle Walker headed off to Euro 2024, the Norwegian star took advantage of his country’s failure to qualify by living it up in Spain.
Haaland and a bunch of buddies were observed partying hard in Marbella, evidently enjoying life.
Haaland let his typical long blonde hair down as the gang danced with DJ Angel Sanchez at Restaurante Playa Padre.
As the music played, Haaland danced the night away with a naughty grin on his face.
The hitman even tried his hand at DJing while friends cheered from the sidelines.
Haaland will be hoping that his time in the sun will put him in good shape for the new season.
Despite scoring 38 goals this season, he was sometimes chastised for his lack of commitment in some City defeats.
This resulted in Roy Keane calling him a “League Two player” following March’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
And Haaland was unable to assist City achieve back-to-back trebles, as Pep Guardiola’s side fell short in the Champions League and FA Cup.
However, Haaland continued to play an important part as City won their fourth title in a row.12Haaland made the most of his free time after Norway missed out on Euro 2024Credit: BackGrid12He danced into the night as he celebrated the end of the seasonCredit: BackGrid12Haaland unclipped his pony tail to let his locks run freeCredit: BackGrid12The striker was the focus of attention in Spain.Credit: BackGrid.
He had lots of other reasons to be glad, too.
That’s because Haaland has been awarded the world’s second most valuable football player, trailing only Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham by £20 million.
The CIES Football Observatory valued him at £217 million.
Vinicus Jr. and Martin Odegaard were also in the top ten, with combined net worths in the billions.
And Haaland’s strong ranking demonstrated that his season was still far ahead of most other players.
But it’s unclear how much longer he’ll be at City, since Haaland refused to commit to a contract extension this week.
He said: “I’ve had two fantastic years and have three years left.
“That’s all I can really say.”
