OKC Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren turns eyes with his Audi RS 7 with 22-inch wheels

Chet Holmgren is one of the most promising NBA rookies during the last few seasons. His physique is unusual, and he has exceptional offensive and defensive abilities. In addition, he stands 7’1 (2.16 m) and was drafted second overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2022 NBA draft.

Holmgren was, with good reason, the highest draft pick ever made from Gonzaga, topping even Kevin McHale. During his Thunder Summer League debut, he showed diligence by recording seven rebounds, 23 points, and four assists in a 98-77 win over the Utah Jazz.

He sadly suffered a terrible foot injury during a Pro-am game in August, and he will miss the entire 2022-23 NBA season.

He shared three photos on Instagram earlier this week of what appears to be a brand-new Audi RS 7, indicating that he is in a happy mood. What criteria are utilised to determine if an item is an RS 7? We initially believed it was the e-tron GT, but the dashboard design quickly disproved that.

Furthermore, the vehicle has frameless doors, which, when combined with its low ride height, leads to the only obvious conclusion: the A7 range from the manufacturer. Upon closer observation of the side skirt cut-out and flat-bottom Alcantara steering wheel, it is clear that this is the most costly RS 7 trim level, starting at $120,900 from Audi USA.

The photographs make it difficult to tell whether Holmgren’s Audi is painted Daytona Grey Pearl or Nardo Grey. We also noticed that it features a pair of 22-inch polished black five V-spoke wheels, and the dark accents around the door pillars indicate that it is equipped with the manufacturer’s Black Optic package.

In terms of performance, the RS 7’s dual turbocharged V8 engine produces 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, enough to propel the vehicle from zero to sixty mph (97 kph) in 3.5 seconds.
