Manchester United have identified a Wolves forward as one of their top summer transfer targets.

Despite doubts over the future of United manager Erik ten Hag, the club is looking to make some substantial additions to their roster.

Matheus Cunha, Wolves’ forward, has emerged as a key transfer target for United this summer.

According to The Mirror, United has conducted extensive scouting on Wolves star Matheus Cunha.

Cunha, who can play as a striker or attacking midfielder, had 12 goals and seven assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season and is valued at roughly £60 million.

Cunha, who has 11 caps for Brazil, joined Wolves on loan from Atletico Madrid in January 2023 before becoming a permanent member of the club later that year.

With Anthony Martial departing the club on a free transfer, United are hoping to add another striker to their current roster of Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford.

United is interested in West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, but faces competition from Liverpool.

Cunha now makes roughly £60,000 per week at Wolves, but United would be willing to treble his salary.

United are also keeping an eye on West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, who played for Ten Hag at Ajax.

However, Liverpool is also interested in Kudus, who can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder and scored 14 goals in all competitions during his first season at West Ham.
