Thompson thanked Warriors fans in China aboard the plane going for the visit. He singled out supporters who continue to watch the games despite the time zone change.
The Warriors’ duo was met with cheers by their loyal Chinese fans. Thompson and Looney showed their appreciation by signing sneakers, posters, and jerseys.
After exploring Xiamen City, Thompson and Looney had a one-on-one interview on their way to Chengdu. Given that this was Looney’s first time on the tour, the Splash Brother inquired about his previous experiences. Looney also mentioned that he had been learning Chinese during the tour and enjoyed meeting all of the fans. They even found a Looney poster in Xiamen City, Thompson’s favorite part of the journey.
The couple’s next stop was Chengdu, the ‘home of the Pandas.’
“This is the cutest thing I’ve ever owned,” Thompson said, admiring his new plush Panda fanny pack. “I love the Pandas.”
Thompson and Looney held the ‘Shooter-11’ basketball camp at their shoe brand headquarters. He demonstrated for the campers by performing an alley-oop slam dunk.
