According to the Liverpool.com article, Liverpool is considering a move for Algerian international Mohamed Amoura from Union Saint-Gilloise. Amoura, a 24-year-old forward, has impressed in Belgium, scoring 21 goals in 33 matches. He had a standout performance against Liverpool in the Europa League, scoring a goal and providing an assist in Union Saint-Gilloise’s 2-1 victory in December. Liverpool has reportedly made contact regarding a potential transfer, and it is estimated that Union Saint-Gilloise would be looking for a fee of around $22 million (£17 million/€20 million) to let him go this summer.
However, Brighton and Tottenham have also shown interest in Amoura.
Additionally, Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville remains on Liverpool’s radar. Summerville, who was named the Championship Player of the Season, has scored 19 goals but was unable to secure automatic promotion for Leeds, who will now participate in the play-offs. Leeds values Summerville at approximately $44 million (£35 million/€41 million), but if they remain in the Championship, they may have to accept a lower offer. Incoming Liverpool manager Arne Slot is reportedly a fan of Summerville, but both Leeds and the player will wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his future.
