Manchester United fans are outraged by ‘one of the ugliest jerseys ever seen’ as away uniform ‘leaked’ for 2024/25 season

Manchester United fans have been devastated when their new away kit was allegedly “leaked” online.

Erik ten Hag’s side has given their fans little to cheer about on the pitch this season.

Manchester United’s new away kit has purportedly been leaked.

Fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the design on X. Additionally, they were mortified when Man City lost a three-goal lead against Coventry before winning on penalties in the FA Cup Final.

They failed to regain the Carabao Cup, while the Red Devils were also knocked out of the Champions League in the group stages.

And their Premier League performances have left little to be enthusiastic about.

The disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Burnley on Saturday dropped them to sixth place in the rankings, with only four games remaining to ensure European football.

The disastrous season has increased pressure on Ten Hag, who is eager to return to his former club Ajax following Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s purchase of a 25% stake.

However, although the manager’s future is uncertain, an Instagram account named “jerseyreview” has “leaked” what those players who remain at United next season would purportedly wear in away games.

The all-blue Adidas number, featuring new sponsor Snapdragon on the front, is very similar to England’s cricket kit.

And it didn’t take long for United fans to condemn the new design on social media following the reported “leak”.

“This could easily be one of the worst jerseys I have ever seen,” said one startled fan.

Another stated that it “looks like a cricket kit,” and it was also labeled “awful.”

A fellow fan commented, “Team about to drop several stinkers in this shirt.”

A fifth wrote, “This looks like we’ll get major Ls wearing this.”

Another said it was a “true stinker”.

An eighth commented, “That is a disgusting design.”

A tenth said it was simply “garbage”.

Some United fans lambasted the ‘terrible’ design, saying it looked like a ‘cricket’ shirt.
