Kobbie Mainoo, an English-born athlete of Ghanaian origin, has a tattoo of his mother, Abena Herold, on his hand.

The Manchester United midfielder, who is having one of his best seasons, got a tattoo of his mother for his birthday.

Kobbie Mainoo turned 19 on April 20, 2024.

The child posted a photo of himself getting the tattoo on his Instagram page to demonstrate how much his mother means to him.

Kobbie Mainoo was born to Ghanaian parents Felix Mainoo and Abena Herold.

The Mainoos have two children, Jordan Hames and Kobbie Mainoo, and have spent the most of their life in Stockport, England.

Despite being born in England, the Ghana Football Association tried to persuade the kid to transfer nationalities and represent the country of his parents.

However, England’s head coach, Gareth Southgate, saw the Manchester United player’s potential and used the opportunity to give him his initial call-up.
