Alejandro Garnacho escapes Jadon Sancho-style exile as Man United star seen in training following being disciplined by Ten Hag

ALEJANDRO GARNACHO avoided a Jadon Sancho-style exile at Manchester United by “liking” social media posts criticizing manager Erik ten Hag when he returned to training on Tuesday.

The Argentina winger was substituted at halftime in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, with Ten Hag claiming he struggled on the right wing.

It comes after the Argentine liked social media posts critical of boss Erik ten Hag.

It is unclear whether Garnacho will play in the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry on Sunday.

Garnacho, 19, liked two posts on X from Mark Goldbridge, presenter of fan channel The United Stand, who chastised Ten Hag for “throwing him under the bus”.

He swiftly erased the “likes”, allowing him to avoid penalty.

And he was photographed returning to training on Tuesday, with the club believing it was a completely different issue than the one involving Sancho.

England winger Sancho, 24, launched his own assault on the manager, accusing him of dishonesty.

Ten Hag did not select Sancho for the 3-1 loss against Arsenal in September due to his training performances.

However, Sancho stated that was “completely untrue” and that he was being used as a “scapegoat”.

Ten Hag forced him to practice away from the first team for months before transferring him to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January.

However, Garnacho will not be made an outcast.

Manchester United are LUCKY to be seventh in the table… one particular metric is bad, says Dave Kidd.

By Dave Kidd.

The worrying aspect of Manchester United’s season is that they should be lower than seventh in the Premier League.

Even with their current streak of one win in seven league games, United’s results have outperformed their performances.

Erik ten Hag’s team deserved to lose all three of their recent draws against Brentford, Liverpool, and Bournemouth.

On goal difference, United is tenth in the league, with just seven teams scoring fewer than their 47 goals.

And if we believe the ‘anticipated points’ statistic, they would be 15th on the table.

It should come as no surprise if Ten Hag’s side loses the FA Cup semi-final against Championship side Coventry on Sunday.

Goldbridge’s postings stated, “Garnacho has been one of our best players this season.” Poor first half, but bringing him off at halftime and holding him up as a concern is ridiculous.

“Many have done considerably worse week after week and are still out there.

Jadon Sancho was forced out to Borussia Dortmund on loan following a spat with Ten Hag.

“Ten Hag subtly blaming Garnacho in the postmatch press conference — not a good look throwing a 19-year-old under the bus.”

Garnacho was replaced by Amad Diallo after falling behind 2-1.

When asked about the adjustment, Ten Hag explained: “We needed to repair that right side.

“We didn’t play brilliantly, but the spaces were there.

“Garnacho was not training during the week.”

The United Stand has approximately two million followers and has been invited to press conferences, games, and summer tours.

A channel guest ripped down Ten Hag, saying, “You’re a fricking embarrassment as a manager. I can’t wait until he gets out.

“He’s a pathological liar and concussed manager.”

United does not intend to block access to the channel because they do not want to “dignify the comments with a response”.

Ten Hag faces pressure following a dismal second season in charge.
