His previous two shows are merely the most recent manifestations of a much wider pattern. Pritchard is having some of his finest basketball of his career, averaging 16 points, 6.3 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in eight games during the regular season in April.

This season, he was the only Celtic to play in all 82 games. He was dependable and enthusiastic in all circumstances. It remains to be seen how much of an impact he makes in the postseason, but it seems like he has cemented his position as a spark off the bench.

“My goal is to secure a championship,” Pritchard declared to the press. “And I’ll do whatever is asked of me.”
