DAVID DE GEA met with Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and ridiculed their old teammate.

The unemployed goalkeeper has been without a club since his 12-year contract with Old Trafford expired last summer.

De Gea spent time in Manchester with an old friend, Fernandes.

The pair posed for photos while sitting with their arms crossed, before the Spaniard placed his hand around the Red Devils skipper.

De Gea shared the photographs on social media, labeled “Dumb and Dumber.”

Fernandes then made the humorous quip, “Is missing the biggest dumbest Juan Mata.”

After being called out, the former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder joined in the fun by responding with a GIF from the Dumb and Dumber film.

De Gea has been connected with a comeback to football, with sources claiming Barcelona, Nottingham Forest, and Saudi Arabian clubs have all approached him with offers.

However, none of these deals have occurred, and the 33-year-old remains a free agent.

De Gea has been enjoying his time away from football, going on vacation with his wife, singer Edurne, 38, and daughter Yanay, 3.

He has also occasionally hung out with his former Manchester United teammates.

In October, De Gea dined with Fernandes, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, and Tom Heaton.

Mata, 35, is also a free agent after departing Japanese club Vissel Kobe at the start of the year.
