Liverpool could bring back Wataru Endo for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp’s squad returns to Old Trafford after suffering a dramatic FA Cup defeat last month, this time hoping for Premier League triumph.

By the time the Reds kick out at the home of their everlasting rivals, they could need three points to recover first place.

Endo was rested for Liverpool’s late 3-1 victory over Sheffield United on Thursday, which kept the title race on track after sustaining a knock in the previous game against Brighton.

Following the win over the Blades, Klopp stated, “We rested him today. We had a hunch there might have been a chance tonight, but if we leave him out, there is a good opportunity on Sunday. I hope that hasn’t changed.

Mohamed Salah was also withdrawn early on Thursday, but Klopp has stated that it was simply to give the winger a rest.

Curtis Jones and Andy Robertson both returned to the team, boosting Liverpool’s options for such a big game.

All of Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, Ben Doak, and Stefan Bajcetic are absent.
