Manchester United are bringing in England’s entire coaching staff if they remove Ten Hag and replace him with Gareth Southgate

MANCHESTER UNITED will want to recruit England’s whole coaching staff to Old Trafford this summer, SunSport can reveal.

Gareth Southgate is currently the overwhelming frontrunner to succeed Erik Ten Hag if the Dutchman is fired at the end of the season.

If Gareth Southgate is appointed manager, Manchester United would look to hire England coaches such as No. 2 Steve Holland

Sir Jim Ratcliffe may fire Erik ten Hag at the conclusion of the season. United is reportedly interested in the England manager, his deputy Steve Holland, and coaches Paul Nevin and Martyn Margetson.

According to a source, there is a lot of admiration at Old Trafford for Gareth and his coaching staff’s work with England in recent years.

“They realize that success is about more than simply Southgate; it is also about the DNA he has instilled in England’s coaching squad.

“So any move for Gareth would also mean a move for his lieutenants, which would help ensure he had the best chance of succeeding at Manchester United.

“Jim Ratcliffe and his team are adamant that the club returns to its roots, which is why there is a strong emphasis on developing young players and attracting the best of British talent.

“The club also believes Gareth has demonstrated in his role with England that he can deal with huge characters and personalities, so he would not be intimidated by managing at a club like United.

“One of the more appealing aspects for United is that Southgate would immediately have the support of the club’s spine of English players, including Maguire, Shaw, Mainoo, and Rashford, giving him a good foundation on which to build.

“They feel Southgate can transform Rashford back into the world-class talent that everyone at the club believes he is.

“It’s for all those reasons that, at the moment, he is seen as the outstanding candidate should they decide to change direction in the summer.”

Southgate’s England contract will expire at the end of the year.

Manchester United will look for coach Paul Nevin to assist Southgate.

Martyn Margetson, the goalkeeper coach, is also in United’s sights.

He has not ruled out remaining with the Three Lions through the 2026 World Cup.

However, an offer from United might change all that.

Southgate stated last month, “There’s a good chance half of the coaches won’t be here after the Euros.” That is international football.

“You’ve got to see how the summer goes; it’s that easy.

“I know what we’re capable of achieving this summer, and I know what my own success criteria are; after that, I’m not really thinking about anything else.””We have to give a performance, and you must make the best judgments for everyone. “I won’t be able to make that decision before the tournament.”Meet Gareth Southgate’s Team. The three guys United are willing to take from England to complete a deal for Southgate…Man Utd will move for coach Paul Nevin to assist Southgate
